Democratic advocacy group calls "Bullshit" on GOP claims that, after four years of trying to destroy it, they now simply want to fix Obamacare. No really, that's the word they use.

Courtesy of TPM:

Democratic advocacy group Americans United For Change has released a new web video video responding to the GOP's criticisms of the rocky Obamacare rollout. The clip, which is entitled "The Republican Crusade For Health Care: Bull$#!%," accuses Republicans of having made "46 votes to repeal or dismantle the Affordable Care Act" and "16 votes to shut down the government to keep healthcare reform from going into effect."

"After four years of fighting tooth and nail to kill it now the Republicans want healthcare reform to work?" a narrator asks in the video. "Bull$#!%."

Now THAT, is my kind of ad!

It is time to stop treating the Republican spoiled brats like reasonable people and start calling them out on their bullshit at every turn.

This is a very good start.

Orlando Bloom, Miranda Kerr separate

(CNN) -- Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr are no longer a couple.

The 36-year-old "Lord of the Rings" actor and his model wife, 30, have announced in a joint statement that they have "been amicably separated for the past few months."

Bloom and Kerr have been together for six years and quietly wed in July 2010. According to their statement, it was only recently that they "decided to formalize their separation."

The couple also have a son, Flynn, who celebrated his second birthday on January 6.

According to E!, which first reported the news, Bloom and Kerr were last photographed together by paparazzi on October 8. Their last public appearance is thought to be their September 19 attendance at the Broadway opening of Bloom's "Romeo and Juliet," which the actor is starring in with Condola Rashad.

Although their marriage is over, the two told E! that they "love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family."

7.3-Magnitude Quake Rocks Japan; No Damage Reports

7.3-Magnitude Quake Rocks Japan; No Damage Reports

A magnitude 7.3 earthquake struck offshore of Japan's crippled nuclear power plant early Saturday, triggering small tsunamis but causing no damage.
An earthquake official with the Japan Meteorological Agency said the quake was an aftershock of the magnitude 9.0 earthquake and tsunami that struck the same area in 2011, killing about 19,000 people and devastating the Fukushima Dai-Ichi nuclear power plant.
There was no damage and only one minor injury was reported, the national Fire and Disaster Management Agency said. Tsunamis of up to 40 centimeters (15 inches) hit four areas along the coast, but a tsunami advisory was lifted less than two hours after the quake.
The epicenter of the 2:10 a.m. Tokyo time (1710 GMT) quake was about 290 kilometers (170 miles) off Fukushima, and it was felt in Tokyo, 300 miles (480 kilometers) away.
"It was fairly big, and rattled quite a bit, but nothing fell to the floor or broke. We've had quakes of this magnitude before," Satoshi Mizuno, an official with the Fukushima prefectural government's disaster management department, told The Associated Press by phone. "Luckily, the quake's center was very far off the coast."
Mizuno said the operator of the troubled Fukushima plant, Tokyo Electric Power Co., said no damage or abnormalities had been found.

One-third of US adults get news through Facebook
A Facebook Inc. logo is displayed at the top of the login page for facebook.com on a computer screen.

Almost 80 percent of those surveyed happen upon news when they are checking up on friends or sharing photos.
One in three Americans get news through Facebook, according to a study from the Pew Research Center released on Thursday.
Almost 80 percent of those surveyed happen upon news when they are checking up on friends or sharing photos. Heavy news consumers did not describe Facebook as an important source of news, the study found.
"People go to Facebook to share personal moments - and they discover the news almost incidentally," Amy Mitchell, director of journalism research at Pew, said in a statement.
The survey is the first part of a series of studies that the Pew Research Center in collaboration with the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation are conducting to examine social media and news consumption.
The study said that about two-thirds of all U.S. adults use Facebook. The world's largest social media site displays a stream where people and publishers can share news. Only 4 percent of Facebook news consumers said the platform is the most important way they obtain their news.

A group of torch bearers hold various countries national flags and an Olympic torch at the North Pole on Oct. 19, 2013.

Russian Polar explorer Artur Chilingarov, who led the mission, lit a special bowl at the North Pole sign. The ceremony involved 11 torch bearers from several countries.
MOSCOW — The Sochi Winter Games organizers say the Olympic flame has traveled to the North Pole aboard a Russian nuclear-powered icebreaker.
The Sochi organizing committee said in Friday's statement that the torch relay reached the North Pole on Oct. 19.
Russian Polar explorer Artur Chilingarov, who led the mission, lit a special bowl at the North Pole sign. The ceremony involved 11 torch bearers from several countries.
The icebreaker, which departed from Russia's Arctic port of Murmansk, made the journey in about 91 hours, the quickest such trip ever.
For most of the 65,000-kilometer (39,000-mile) torch relay, the longest in the history of the Olympics, the flame travels by plane, train, car and even reindeer sleigh, safely encased inside a lantern.

Sarah Palin wishes her mother a happy birthday, and decorates her imaginary cake wtih pure hypocrisy.

Sarah Palin wishes her mother a happy birthday, and decorates her imaginary cake wtih pure hypocrisy.
So Palin's ghostwritten Facebook post starts off complimenting her mother, wishing her a happy birthday, and saying nice things about her, which is perfectly fine and I don't think that any of us would have any issue with that whatsoever.

After all everybody loves their mom!

However then Palin decides to take a detour and starts delivering a lecture about, and I'm not kidding about this, complaining, which she terms "grumbling."

And knowing mom, the most optimistic person we know, a great gift she'd appreciate from everyone, especially all her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids, is like-minded optimism. She's proof positive it makes the world a better place.

We know there's a lot wrong with our nation right now, but there’s a lot right too! Human nature leads to a pattern of grumbling where we lose sight of things we should be thankful for.

I ran across @thethankables campaign to declare a “War on Grumbling.” Great idea. It's totally "Sally Heath." Take time each day to declare our own #WarOnGrumbling by naming things we’re thankful for.

So Sarah Palin, you know the Sarah Palin who viciously complains about what she sees has the fundamental changing of HER country, would like, in honor of her mother, to suggest to all of you that you not complain so damn much.

Seriously?

So I thought I would provide a few examples, JUST from this month, where Palin engaged in some "grumbling of her own. (And trust me, for the sake of time, I am leaving out quite a few.)

October 1, Palin "grumbles" about the President's positive speech about Obamacare.

October 3, Palin "grumbles" about the closing of the World War 2 memorials that HER Tea Party buddies forced to close.

October 4, Palin "grumbles" about her perception that the media does not understand how government works.

October 9, Palin "grumbles" about the perceived "War on Christmas" and tries to hawk her book.

October 12, Palin tries to get Steve Lonegan elected in New Jersey, and "grumbles" about the effect of the shut down.

October 14, Palin "grumbles" about the possibility of a government default and attempts to blame it on the President.

October 15, Palin goes to Washington to "grumble" in person to Great Van Susteren about the government shutdown.

October 16, Palin "grumbles" about the GOP politicians who refused to let the country default.

October 18, Palin "grumbles" about a cemetery marker.

October 20, Palin "grumbles" about the Republican, compares them to the "Corrupt Bastard's Club."

October 23, Palin "grumbles" that the media is not doing their job, but came after HER too aggressively, (Yeah right!)

October 24, Palin "grumbles" that the lady who fainted behind the President, might just have been faking it.

And then yesterday, Palin "grumbled: that Piers Morgan wanted to interview her.

If indeed Sarah Palin stopped "grumbling" I am pretty sure she would simply dry up and wither away to nothing. After all the only thing that seems to be driving her these days is hate.

Happy birthday Sally Heath. Sorry that your daughter turned out to be such a hypocritical bitch.

Today's child shoots family member with unattended gun comes to us courtesy of Florida. (Actually that's where a LOT of them come from.)

Today's child shoots family member with unattended gun comes to us courtesy of Florida. (Actually that's where a LOT of them come from.)
Courtesy of My Fox Tampa Bay:

Detectives say a 4-year-old accidentally shot and injured their aunt – and the uncle is the one to blame.

It happened inside an SUV in the parking lot at 9017 East Adamo Drive.

The sheriff's office says the child's uncle, Randall Simmons, was showing the 4-year-old and 8-year-old his handgun. He then put the gun in the glove compartment, left the kids unattended, and a short time later, the child grabbed the gun. The child accidentally shot 30-year-old Shantell Wilson in the back.

Wilson was treated at the hospital, but the sheriff's office says the family was not cooperative with them.

Eventually, detectives said they were able to determine that Simmons had left the kids unattended with the gun in the vehicle.

A warrant for his arrest has been issued.

Thew uncle SHOWED the kids the guns.

Let them watch him put them into the glove compartment.

And then left them alone in the car.

Which led to the child's aunt being shot in the back.

Yeah he needs to be arrested alright. And then he needs to be kept as far away from children as possible for the rest of his life.

Remember folks, guns don't kill people, but they make it so that even four year old children have the opportunity to do so.
