Fox News: Tea Party Plaintiffs: IRS-Gate Evidence Leads To Obama; Smoking Out Rats...


Excerpts via the amended complaint: In stark contrast to how the IRS, with the encouragement of the President, Democrat members of Congress, and many in the media treated Plaintiffs, organizations with mission statements that are plainly political in nature, and which openly admit to the electioneering nature of their mission, had their applications for tax-exempt status approved by the IRS in a matter of months. For example, Missourians Organizing for Reform has as its mission “[s]upport [for] progressive politicians.” Missourians Organizing for Reform’s application for tax-exempt status was granted after nine months.

An even worse example of the disparate treatment of Plaintiffs and organizations like them is the IRS’s approval of the Barack H. Obama Foundation (the “Foundation”), which from its establishment in 2008 until May 2011, solicited tax deductible contributions yet had never filed either a tax return, a form 990, or an application to be treated as a tax-exempt organization. When this Foundation finally filed for tax-exempt status, its application was granted in only six weeks and, amazingly, made retroactive to April 30, 2008, the date of its incorporation. The favorable determination letter for the Foundation was signed by Defendant Lerner.

The Foundation did not qualify for any of the exceptions that are required to be present when retroactive tax status is granted. Moreover, the Foundation engaged in activities in a foreign country (Kenya) and had the name of a presidential candidate in its name, both factors that would ordinarily have triggered requests for additional information from the IRS rather than an expedited determination. Subsequent to the issuance of the Interim Report, the House Committee discovered that Defendants Shulman, Lerner, Ingram, Flax and Kindell repeatedly used nonofficial, unsecure, personal email accounts to conduct official IRS business, including sending tax return information and official classified documents to non-agency email addresses, and that Defendant Lerner alone accumulated more than 1,600 pages of emails and documents related to official IRS business in a nonofficial, unsecure, personal email account, including almost 30 pages of confidential taxpayer information. About a dozen people carrying rifles protested in Dallas Saturday morning at the sight of one of the most infamous gun crimes in United States history.

The crowd carried AR-15s, old military rifles and one Texas flag with the “Don’t tread on me” slogan at Dealey Plaza, where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated 50 years ago . They said they were there to peacefully show that carrying firearms is legal in Texas and that the people who do it aren’t dangerous.

“We are law abiding citizens exercising our rights,” said Brad McClain, one of the organizers of the event.

McClain said he understood the significance of the site where they were protesting, but said they mostly picked the location because it was high-profile.

“It’s visible, it’s historical and the landscape is perfect for photo ops,” he said.

Seriously why don't these assholes just by a t-shirt that reads "I am a douchbag?"

Their lack of sensitivity alone makes me thing they should not have access to weapons. I mean clearly they do not respect the memories of those who died at the hands of gun violence, nor do they consider the feelings of the normal people who have to watch them strut around with their metal penis extenders hanging around their necks in public.

In a completely unrelated story, a two year old girl celebrated her parents 2nd Amendment rights by shooting herself to death with their unsecured handgun:

A two-year-old girl has died after accidentally shooting herself with a handgun she found lying around her home.

The toddler - named by neighbors as Coco - got hold of the 'unsecured' loaded weapon at the home in North Carolina, police said.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) says that Republicans could have won the fight to derail President Barack Obama’s health care law by shutting down the government if they had just accused the Democrats holding children with cancer “hostage.”

In an interview that aired on Sunday, CNN’s Dana Bash asked Cruz if he was bothered on a “human level” that so many colleagues in his own party were angry at him for instigating the shutdown.

“Not remotely,” Cruz insisted. “I work for 26 million Texans, that’s my job to fight for them. I don’t work for the party bosses in Washington… The reason people are frustrated all over the country is that far too many people get elected and they think they’re there to be part of the club.”

The Texas senator observed that things could have turned out differently if Senate Republicans had “marched into battle side by side” with House Republicans to defund Obamacare.

But Bash noted that Democrats had the successful strategy in the end.

Cruz, however, reminded Bash of an exchange she had with Senate Majority Harry Reid (D-NV) about a Republican plan to fund the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and other selective parts of the government during the shutdown.

A controversy had erupted at the time when Bash asked Reid if it would be worth it if he could help “one child” with cancer.

During the interview that aired on Sunday, Cruz said that Reid showed Democrats were “vulnerable” and that Republicans should have used children with cancer as a pressure point to win the fight against health care reform.

“President Obama and the Democrats’ position throughout this is, ‘We will not negotiate, we will not compromise, shut it all down.’ That’s not a reasonable position,” he explained. “If Senate Republicans had united and supported House Republicans, if we had 46 Senate Republicans on television every day, in the media every day making the point, ‘Why won’t they fund the VA, why are they holding our veterans hostage? Why won’t they fund the NIH, why are they holding kids with illnesses hostage?’”

“That’s a fight we could win because their position was unreasonable.”

"Unreasonable?" It might be worthwhile to point out here that those children are now receiving those services denied to them by the government shutdown. As are the veterans. While police are also now being paid, national parks are being opened, and the government is back up and running. And instead of picking and choosing who is worthy of receiving assistance or their paychecks, and who is not, the government is simply now able to do its job.

All of its jobs.

THAT was what the Democrats were fighting for. That and taking the power away from a handful of domestic terrorists who wanted to hold, not just cancer stricken children, but the entire country hostage.

And do you know what? Now that the Tea-borg has failed to beat the President they have turned their anger toward those who have not yet been absorbed into the collective.

Hard-line conservatives aren’t just sticking it to the national GOP by shutting down the government and bringing the nation to the brink of default — they’re also refusing to pony up to help their party defend the House in 2014.

With a little more than a year until the midterm election, many leaders of the shutdown strategy have yet to donate to the National Republican Congressional Committee, records show. At least eight of the debate’s 20 or so most outspoken figures have not given any money to the NRCC, and others have forked over token amounts.

Their refusal to contribute to the House GOP’s political arm, coming as Republicans are getting thumped by Democrats in the money race, is causing heartburn and frustration among Republican strategists charged with laying the groundwork for next year’s races. They say it is reinforcing a perception of the conservative gang that they’re out only for themselves and don’t much care about advancing the party’s larger cause.

Yes, they are eating their own now.

So for those who thought that Palin's crazed diatribe against the Republican party yesterday, meant that she had gone all "mavericky," and was not longer taking orders from the Koch brothers and Heritage Foundation, it appears such is not the case.

She is simply among those GOP insurgents who are determined to either completely reshape the Republican party or destroy it from within.

There is a part of me that simply wants to sit back and watch the fun, but then I imagine a GOP run by the likes of Ted Cruz, a man who would have gladly used cancer stricken children as pawns in a power play against the Democrats, and I realize I really do have a dog in this fight.

And it is a dog that might be willing to live in harmony with others, NOT a rabid cur growling and snapping at everything, and everyone, who approaches, and is not similarly afflicted with their sickness.

(CNN) -- A student opening fire with a handgun he took from his parents. Screaming students running for cover. A teacher, trying to help, shot dead. Two students wounded. The terror lasted just a few brutal minutes.

As authorities investigated, details were still trickling out hours after a deadly shooting Monday at a Nevada middle school.

One official described the scene at Sparks Middle School with one word: chaos.

Students described to CNN how they ran into the school screaming and crying when they realized the pops they heard were gunshots just before the morning bell welcomed them back from fall break.

The shooter took a handgun from his parents, a federal law enforcement source who was briefed on the situation told CNN's Evan Perez.

The gunman eventually shot and killed himself with the semiautomatic gun, Sparks Deputy Chief Tom Miller said Monday evening at a news conference.

Tana Clymer, 14, of Oklahoma City, with a 3.85-carat canary diamond she discovered Saturday Oct. 19, at Arkansas' Crater of Diamonds State Park.

Today's contribution comes from that Right Wing rag known as Breitbart.com, which is really only a small step up from having her post it on Facebook.

Essentially it is a post pimping a book by Peter Schweizer, who I am sure some of you will remember Palin hired as her "foreign policy adviser" back in 2011. (And what a bang up job he did.)

The book is about corruption, and buying favors, in Washington D.C., because you know nobody has ever made that connection before. Schweizer perhaps takes it a step further identifying this process as "mafia-style legislative tactics" and claiming that it is akin to paying "protection money" to insure that there will be no investigations for wrong doing into those companies that contribute. Once again a practice almost as old as Washington itself.

Of course since this IS coming from a Right Wing mouthpiece it tends to focus on President Obama and the Democrats:

Schweizer interviewed former Chairman of Apache Corporation Ray Plank. Plank said campaign cash and lobbying contracts now function as “protection money” to keep lawmakers and regulators from going after you.

“It’s what you expect from the mafia,” said Plank. “They basically come to you and say, ‘We are going to shove this bat up your ass and give you an enema. You better play ball.’ We saw a great deal of it. It’s an insidious blight.”

There are left-wing progressives on Wall Street and in the high-tech world who bankrolled President Obama’s campaign because they love his radical agenda. But as Schweizer points out, many gave because they know they have to; if they don’t, Obama will come after them.

That’s a lesson the Tea Party knows all too well. After the Tea Party’s historic 2010 midterm victory, Obama unleashed Attorney General Eric Holder to go after the oil and gas sector, which had given four times as much to Republicans as to Democrats. As Obama said in October 2010, “We are going to punish our enemies and we’re gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us.”

That last quote really bothered me, because it did NOT sound like anything the President would say. EVER.

So I found two different speeches the President gave in October 2010, one was a rally in Portland and the other was a speech with Harry Reid in Arizona. I combed through them carefully, and could find nothing that matched that quote exactly, nor anything that was very similar to it.

Now it is early in the morning here, and perhaps I just missed it, but like I said it doesn't sound like the President.

However it really doesn't matter, because the premise, at least in the President's case, does not add up.

If the idea is that people who donate a lot of money are safe from prosecution, then Schweizer, and his employer Sarah Palin, would have to explain what just happened to JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon.

Dimon was a huge contributor to numerous Democrats, including former White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel, as well as many prominent Republicans, and was very close to President Obama.

And yet the other day his company just agreed to a record setting settlement of 13 billion dollars for numerous civil suits filed against them, and are still under federal investigation. (I don't remember ANY investigations being launched against big businesses and unethical lenders during the Bush Administration. And not only that, but they relaxed regulations to the point that there were very few actions even considered illegal by them anymore.)

I cannot tell you how ironic I find it that these so-called conservatives are jumping all over Washington politicians now that there is a Democratic majority in the Senate, and a Democrat in the White House, for allegedly being corrupt, but said NOTHING during the eight years of the Bush-Cheney criminal enterprise.

Oh, but now that the Teabaggers are attempting to hijack the Republican party (On yesterday's Hardball Freedomwork's Matt Kibbe stated that fact out loud.), the Koch brothers are willing to sick Palin on the GOP as well:

And what about the GOP establishment? Why haven’t they been able to clean up the extortion racket in Washington? You have to ask yourself, has the party machine fought this corruption or does it participate in it? As a senior House Republican told Fox News on Thursday, it’s “highly unlikely” Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) will be challenged because few have the muscle to match his ability to “raise money.”

Then the ghostwriter decides to insert a little of Palin's whining into the article for the sake of authenticity:

The fact that these strong-arm tactics take place in Washington doesn’t surprise me at all. I’ve fought this type of corruption my entire political career. And those who disagreed with me politically used thug-like tactics to try to bankrupt my family with frivolous lawsuits in Alaska, and it hasn’t stopped to this day.

And that may be the most Palin-like portion of this clearly professionally written, and duplicitous, article.

The funny thing is that much of what the real author says are things that I agree with. Let's get corporate money out of politics, let's elect leaders that really represent their constituents, and let's make sure that big businesses are unable to buy their way out of trouble.

Hear, hear.

However then I remember that this is an article written for a political celebutard, by a ghostwriter hired by the Koch brothers (Perhaps the wealthiest, and more powerful political contributors in the country). And suddenly it occurs to me that I am simply reading propaganda, dipped in hypocrisy sauce, and promoted by a woman who quit her job in order to work as a flunky for wealthy puppet masters.

In other words, considering the source(s), this has no actual value to anybody.

It is simply camouflage, and an attempt at redirection, for those who only want you to notice a CERTAIN segment of Washington being corrupt, while missing out on the REAL puppeteers behind Washington politics. Remember, the politicians who the Tea Party is sending to Washington are there to shut down the government, and without government there is NO government oversight of business.

Personally I think I know who the REAL villains are (Koch brothers, Freedom Works, Heritage Foundation), and I will make sure to keep a very wary eye on everything that they do. And I have to say that it seems to me that their actions are becoming more desperate every day.

How else to explain taking the Palin out of mothballs and attempting to use her as the voice of reason concerning political corruption?

Arkansas Rep. Tim Griffin, a second-term Republican, announced on Monday that he will not seek reelection in 2014, citing a desire to spend more time with his family.

“It has been an agonizing and difficult decision involving much prayer, thought and discussion. We have decided that now is the time for me to focus intently on my top priority, my family, as Elizabeth and I raise our two young children,” Griffin said in a statement to the Arkansas news site Talk Business.

“To that end, I will not seek reelection to a third term. I will complete my second term, but I have made no decision as to my plans after Congress except that I will continue in public service, including as a lieutenant colonel in the Army Reserve,” he said.

In an interview taking place only hours after his announcement Griffin claims that “This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anybody who actually knows me" Well I cannot say that I know this guy, thankfully, but I DO know that he seemed to gladly accept just about every underhanded thing that Karl Rove assigned to him in order to get ahead, and that included purging voting rolls in 2004 to help Bush beat Kerry, and even flying up here to help battle against Alaska's Clean Water Initiative.

So do I really think that little Timmy Griffin has suddenly decided that politics is not for him, and that it is time to stay at home with the kids?

Not on your life.

The British public has such “poor religious literacy” that a modern audience would be baffled by the Monty Python film The Life of Brian – because it would not understand the Biblical references, a senior BBC figure has claimed.

Aaqil Ahmed, the BBC’s head of religion and ethics, told The Independent that failings in religious education over two generations were undermining public understanding of contemporary national and international issues. “You had generations that missed out. We have poor religious literacy in this country and we have to do something about it,” he said.

He was speaking at the launch of an ambitious three-part BBC2 series which will address the subject of pilgrimage from a broad perspective and is intended to attract the interest of Atheists as much as religious believers.

“If you tried to make The Life of Brian today it would fall flat on its face because the vast majority of the audience would not get most of the jokes. They don’t have the knowledge,” Ahmed said. He questioned whether modern audiences would appreciate that the “great joke about the Sermon on the Mount” in the 1979 Python film, where a woman asks “What’s so special about the cheesemakers?”, was a reference to Jesus’s words “Blessed are the peacemakers” from the Bible.

He also claimed that comedians such as Eddie Izzard, Tim Minchin and Ricky Gervais – who he said he found “really funny” – tended to tackle religion in very general terms. “They don’t take on specific aspects of religion they take on bigger things – such as the Bible. They can’t go into specific stories anymore because no one knows what the stories are.”

Okay well I am going to go on record as saying that though I lament the fact that people cannot appreciate the genius of "The Life of Brian" (Which I love) that overall it is a very good thing that people are less indoctrinated into religion these days.

I actually hope for the day, here in America, when we see the Bible and Quran relegated to the mythology section of our local libraries, and when they will be treated as interesting fables and nothing more.

I don't believe I will see that in my lifetime, but there is always hope for the next generations.

During the Million Veterans March last Sunday, October 13, 2013, I addressed a crowd gathered at the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C. Also speaking were Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Lee, Governor Sarah Palin, and Congressman David Stockman, among other patriots.

During my speech, which can be seen and heard at www.freedomwatchusa.org and www.occupywashington.us, I spoke of the nation's founding and heritage, how it has ethically and morally declined in its brief 237-year history, particularly under President Barack Hussein Obama, and, in the spirit of Thomas Jefferson, our great Founding Father, drafter of the Declaration of Independence and third president, challenged all Americans to wage a second American revolution to restore the principles of freedom, honesty, ethics and respect for the Constitution upon which this nation was founded. Departing somewhat from Jefferson for the time being, who advocated force when necessary – ("[w]hat signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants.") – I urged the crowd and those watching on television to use non-violent, peaceful disobedience to accomplish our objectives in the style of Gandhi, Martin Luther King and others who have successfully used these tactics to positively change the course of history and gain and preserve freedom for their people.

In the course of my speech, I also metaphorically stated that our current president bows down to allah. I challenged Obama, who has repeatedly shown his pro-Muslim bias over the Judeo-Christian values of our Founding Fathers, to get up off his knees, put the Qur'an down, and to figuratively come out of the White House with his hands up, and resign.

Pouring over the speeches that day, primarily the liberal media picked up on my metaphors and broadcasted disparaging statements about them to try to discredit the Tea Partiers that were present that day. They did the same with the speeches of Senators Cruz and Lee, as well as Governor Sarah Palin, adding for "good measure" that they had endorsed a Confederate Flag that one person in the crowd had brought to the event – more than suggesting, as has become the norm from the left, that we Tea Partiers are a racist bunch.

As a result of this liberal attack, I personally have received hundreds of emails and texts from leftist and Muslim supporters of President Obama berating and threatening me with harm or death.

Ironically, while my references were intended to be metaphoric and not literal, they do ring true. Perhaps this explains the violent reaction of the Obama supporters. In this regard, here are just a few facts, among many, which are uncontroverted:

First, there is no doubt that under Islamic law Obama is a Muslim, as his father was a Muslim. But this was not the basis of my metaphoric references. Second, Obama has shown tremendous antipathy to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and has not been a friend of the Jewish state. To the contrary, he has done everything he could to undercut Israel in international fora and in negotiations with Iran over its nuclear capability. Third, during the 2008 presidential campaign, Obama referred to his "Muslim faith" in an interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos.


Fourth, a few years ago, Obama cancelled celebration of National Day of Prayer in the White House and instead feasted Ramadan, using the occasion to endorse the Ground Zero mosque. Fifth, Obama has worn a ring for decades that is inscribed with the saying that his only god is allah. (http://www.wnd.com/2012/10/obamas-ring-there-is-no-god-but-allah/). Sixth, in 2009, Obama bowed down to Saudi King Abdullah, knowing that Americans, especially one holding the highest elected position as president, do not bow to dictatorial tyrants who practice an extreme form of Islam – Wahabi – in which honor killings are encouraged.


Seventh, Obama's recent support of now removed Muslim Brotherhood Egyptian president Mohammed Morsi speaks for itself. (http://www.wnd.com/2013/01/meet-the-first-muslim-president/). Eighth, Obama has failed to speak out or act to address Christian persecution in the Middle East. Despite these uncontroverted facts, the left, and those from some other political and media spectra who want to cozy up to the establishment club, do not want to hear or admit the truth. The strong reaction to my statements underscore why the truth needed to be said. These naysayers do not have the courage of our Founding Fathers, who risked their lives and fortunes for freedom.

Interestingly, some of this misanthropic bunch accused me of sedition and treason, claiming that President Obama was elected twice and thus should be left to remain in office to carry out his term. However, despots should not be permitted to continue their tyrannical rule if they commit one scandal after another and subvert the Constitution and common standards of decency and ethics. I would remind my leftist "friends" that vile dictators like deceased Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez, Russian president Vladimir Putin and recently deposed Muslim Brotherhood Egyptian president Mohammad Morsi were also elected. In our case, the institutions of our government, the checks and balances put in place by our Founding Fathers, have totally broken down. The country is now ruled by a compromised cabal of both Democrats and Republicans who put their own interests ahead of those of We the People. This is exactly the regrettable scenario that Jefferson so eloquently spoke of and feared.

There is a groundswell growing among the informed populace to take strong, non-violent action to free us from the shackles of the corrupt political establishment, lead by President Obama, who have driven the country into the ground.

Some more bashing of Sarah Palin on Sunday night’s episode of CBS’s The Good Wife, but the scene also managed to deliver an illustrative dramatization of liberals in a bubble displaying arrogant condescension toward those who dare stray from liberal orthodoxy – and how they learn to despise the Fox News Channel via Jon Stewart. (I'm sorry WHOSE in the bubble?)

A couple who are old college friends of liberal lawyer “Diane Lockhart” visit and meet her fiancé, Gary Cole as Sarah Palin supporter, gun owner and ballistics expert “Kurt McVeigh.” An appalled “Francesca” despairs: “But his views, Diane. All his views. He supports Sarah Palin!”

She soon lectures, before getting cut off: “Issues matter. I know we’re all supposed to disagree and smile and go home and pretend it’s all some big tennis match, but people end up poorer, guns end up killing people. Global warming keeps destroying our-”

“Francesca,” and husband “Lyle,” played by left-wing comedian Robert Klein, meet “Lockhart” and “McVeigh” in a restaurant where they learn he owns a gun. “Francesca” exclaims: “So you don’t think Sandy Hook changed anything?”

Later, at the apartment of “Lockhart,” played by Christine Baranski, “Francesca expresses her disgust with how her soon-to-be-husband likes Palin. “Lockhart,” a fan of Hillary Clinton’s, laughs as she acknowledges, “I fell in love with a Palin supporter.”

To which “Lyle,” just after grabbing hold of Sarah Palin’s book, Going Rogue, on a bookshelf, scolds: “It’s not funny, Diane. Did you see her? She’s back on Fox.”

“Lockhart” points out: “Oh, you don’t watch Fox.” “Lyle” counters, showing where liberals learn about FNC: “They show clips on Jon Stewart.” (Which really is the place that MOST intelligent Americans see clips from Fox News by the way.)

Apparently this is not the first time this show has received backlash from the Right Wing and Palin-bots before for naming the pro-Palin character "McVeigh."

(Can't imagine why that would bothered them.)

Anyhow I watched the clip and found nothing controversial about it at all. That is the same type of conversation that has been happening around the country ever since Snowdrift Snooki first burst onto the national stage.

Of course what do I know? After all I am pretty sure I am counted among the "liberal media bias" that this website is railing against.

And proudly so might I add.
