Sarah Palin panders to the Irish this St. Patrick's Day. And uses Ronald Reagan to do it.

Top 'o the Morning on this happy St. Patrick's Day! May the luck of the Irish continue with us through election day this fall! And to the Sheeran leaf of our family tree – may your Irish eyes keep smiling!

She uses Todd's heritage to pander to the minorities. Trig to pander to the pro-life movement. Track to pander to the military. And now her family's ancestors to pander to the Irish.

She even uses the image of Ronald Reagan to stimulate the nipples of the conservative necrophiliacs.

Not an ounce of shame in that one.

I wonder if anybody has told her that the Irish were the Hispanics of their day?

Here is a little history:

The Irish were ostracized from American society for many things besides just being newcomers. The Irish were ostracized for being Catholic. Many Protestants and "native" Americans were distrustful of a religion that was, as they viewed it, highly irregular with its beads, meditative prayers to Jesus' mother, oils, saints and statues. The Irish were also categorized as angry, alcoholic beings--( the term "don't get your Irish up", stemmed from a stereotypical belief in the volatile Irish temper) who drank all the time in saloons and had regular bar brawls and parties filled with revelry and debauchery. They were illiterate, greedy,--therefore desperate to make it "Micks on the Make"--their families were too clannish, bred like rabbits, and the Irish were entirely figured to be a stupid servant race by the Bostonians and most of "native" America. These images were portrayed in the daily Boston and New York newspapers, photographs, and other media of the time. Those looking to escape these stereotypes and rise above them to be part of American society like Joseph P. Kennedy, had to work hard and take many knocks before any change was rendered.

Sound familiar?

Yet now many of the descendants of these people, who fought so hard for acceptance, are vilifying those who are following the same path.

Remember both Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly are of Irish descent, and yet they feel no sense of hypocrisy in damning the Hispanic community for attempting to gain the same sense of belonging that the Irish fought so hard for in decades past.

And of course neither does Palin.

But fortunately for the "new Irish" there is a man of Irish descent in a position of power who WILL stand up for their cause.

Possibly faux Democratic challenger for Eric Cantor's House seat goes on Twitter rampage against Sarah Palin and Bristol.

Possibly faux Democratic challenger for Eric Cantor's House seat goes on Twitter rampage against Sarah Palin and Bristol.
So last night somebody sent me a link to this guy's Twitter feed.

At first I thought perhaps he was another guy simply using a fake campaign to attract attention and go after people he dislikes on Twitter.

However after a little research it appears that he is the ONLY Democrat who is willing to put his hat in the ring to take on Eric Cantor.

According to the Examiner he really does not have any support from the Democratic party, and if no other challenger comes forward to take Cantor on, then the party will simply endorse nobody.

Apparently the problem is that Dickinson has some connection to the adult industry and the fact that he might not have the most evolved attitude toward women.

So assuming that this guy is showboating for attention by posing as a serious candidate for Cantor's seat in Virginia's 7th District (Though he did sit down for an interview with Sean Hannity, where he did not come off too well.), I think his Twitter feed is still worth a read, if for nothing else than the completely fearless way he goes after Palin, Bristol, and the whole Palin hypocrisy.

It goes on from there for several more tweets, only broken up by a few tweets attacking Sean Hannity and Fox News or responding to the numerous critics who are attacking him.

So as I said earlier, this guy is certainly NOT a viable, or serious candidate, for Cantor's seat.

However you can't really argue with his assessment of Sarah Palin and her family.

A little crude?

Sure.

But inaccurate?

Not so much.

After suffering setbacks in the political arena the gun control movement goes rogue. (Hey I can use that word too, she doesn't own it!)

After suffering setbacks in the political arena the gun control movement goes rogue. (Hey I can use that word too, she doesn't own it!)

The American gun control movement is going corporate.

Still reeling from the stinging legislative defeats of 2013, proponents of tougher firearm regulations are increasingly turning their focus to private sector campaigns.

Gun control groups have claimed victories in recent months, successfully pushing Starbucks to declare guns unwelcome in stores and persuading Facebook to crack down on unregulated firearm solicitations.

With no end in sight to the congressional gridlock that has thwarted more stringent federal gun laws, groups say they will continue to apply pressure on major companies.

“Congress locked the door, so moms are going through the window,” said Shannon Watts, founder of Moms Demand Action.

The gun control organization, modeled on Mothers Against Drunk Driving, has made the corporate push a third prong of its strategy, along with campaigns to influence state and federal policies, Watts said.

Pro-gun groups downplayed the likely effectiveness of these tactics, which have also been embraced by Mayors Against Illegal Guns and Americans for Responsible Solutions.

Americans for Responsible Solutions is Gabby Giffords organization.

I am not at all surprised to see that she, and Mark, do not take defeat lying down.

In my opinion this has a real chance of working, and despite their statements to the contrary I imagine that it is causing quite a lot of consternation over at the NRA.

If politicians are unwilling, or unable, to listen to reason then taking the issue straight to the business leaders and the people seems like the best way to get the word out and start changing some minds.

Newest pro-Palin advertisement is an exercise in exaggeration, conflation, and frustration.

Courtesy of the Conservative Campaign Committee:

Too often we’ve seen the liberal media and Democrat Party activists smear our conservative leaders – telling lies about them, mocking them, you know the routine.

Gov. Sarah Palin has been attacked by the Left more than just about any other conservative leader of our time. As the 2014 Midterm Elections continue, we have a choice: we can either play “offense” and stand up for our leaders and their conservative convictions, or we can choose to be timid, stay silent, and hope by some miracle we manage to win the war of ideas taking place during this election cycle.

We here at the Conservative Campaign Committee choose to fight. And that is why we are launching a new TV ad campaign that celebrates Sarah Palin’s conservative leadership and shows how while she and other conservatives have been proven right on a whole host of issues, Barack Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi were wrong.

I have to say that I kind of find this surprising, as Palin has now completely marginalized herself by moving from Fox News, the Republican propaganda network, to this new streaming media channel online.

Besides that Palin could hardly be considered a spokesperson for the Republican party, as she spends a great deal of her time promoting dissension within the ranks and open hostility in Washington.

Yet so desperate are these sad left over Palin-bots that they will cherry pick the numerous insane things which vomited forth from Palin's maw looking for the one or two that can be polished off to seem almost reasonable.

But of course, in the end, even those are nothing more than shiny lacquered moose nuggets.

Newest pro-Palin advertisement is an exercise in exaggeration, conflation, and frustration.

Religion can be both a shield and a bludgeon. Used to protect those who seek safety beneath its banner, and then used to shatter the bodies of those deemed unworthy of such protection.

Religion can be both a shield and a bludgeon. Used to protect those who seek safety beneath its banner, and then used to shatter the bodies of those deemed unworthy of such protection.
"It is the church and not the state, to which the teaching of woman’s inferiority is due ; it is the church which primally commanded the obedience of woman to man. It is the church which stamps with religious authority the political and domestic degradation of woman. It is the church which has placed itself in opposition to all efforts looking towards her enfranchisement and it has done this under professed divine authority, and wherever we find laws of the state bearing with greater hardship upon woman than upon man, we shall ever find them due to the teachings of the church." The other day somebody commented on the Bill Maher thread that people should simply respect each person's faith and leave it unchallenged.

The answer to that of course it NO.

At least not as long as their belief system is the sole reason cited by those who want to oppress or judge others, and keep them from accessing the life, liberty, and happiness promised to us all in the Declaration of Independence.

If your religion seeks to gain dominance over those who do not agree with its tenets, then it ceases to be a personal choice and instead becomes an overarching threat which must be met with suspicion, investigation, and perhaps even aggression.

A man dressed as Rambo walks into a bar.....stop me if you've heard this one.

A man dressed as Rambo walks into a bar.....stop me if you've heard this one.
Courtesy of New York Daily News:

A Florida action anti-hero armed with a gun and knives entered a bar dressed like Rambo and opened fire, but two patrons subdued him before he fully reenacted the character’s films.

Daniel Allen Noble, 37, was seen drinking calmly at the Europa Lounge & Bistro in Palm Coast Saturday when he left and returned at 11:25 p.m. dressed like Rambo — complete with an Uzi-style rifle and two large hunting knives at his sides, the Flagler County Sheriff's Department said.

The action hero wannabe began challenging people in the bar when two customers stopped him. Vassili Mironov, 28, and Roman Dubinsechi, 23 both of Palm Coast, grabbed the barrel of the gun, pointing it to the ground where it went off once or twice, police said.

No one was injured from the shooting, police said.

Noble then grabbed a knife and started to fight with the two men, who were able to knock the anti-hero unconscious. He was transported to the hospital where he was released after treatment of minor injuries.

Seriously who did not see something like this happening eventually?

Essentially all of this assault carrying, action movie dipsits believe in their hearts that they ARE Rambo, and are just waiting for somebody to give them a reason to unload all of their hate, anger, and insecurities through the barrel of a gun so that they can feel like heroes.

This guy just had reality arrive. wake him up form his fantasy, and slap the shit out of him.

Multiple times I would guess from his mugshot.
