Does anybody doubt that much of the criticism aimed at Jimmy Carter was the result, not of his problems with the hostages in Iran, but instead due to his attempt to take the country away from fossil fuels, and toward renewable energy sources?

The fact that this group has had such a significant, and negative impact on our politics, is deeply troubling, and should inspire us to keep an eye on them moving forward.
